New Angkor Cambodian Food Products at Summer Fancy Food Show

Tamarind Dipping Sauce and Chrouk Metae

Fremont, CA (June 12, 2018) – Angkor Cambodian Food will be showcasing two new authentic Cambodian sauces at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York from June 30 to July 2.  In booth 3540 we will debut our Tamarind Dipping Sauce, in a 9.5 oz. sauce bottle and half-gallon jug.  Also joining the product line is Chrouk Metae, a authentic Cambodian Hot Sauce, in a 3.5oz jar.

Created from a recipe used by our chef's family for generations, our Tamarind Dipping Sauce (Tuk Trey Ompearl Tum) is traditionally used with Cambodian wraps and spring rolls.  It pairs well with steak or broiled fish and is delicious on a salad with grilled meat and a toasted slice of baguette.  

Chrouk Metae is Authentic Cambodian hot sauce with robust flavor, delightful texture, and a beautiful deep red color. Its subtle, sweet, yet tangy taste livens up appetizers and main dishes. Traditionally served as a spicy salsa with grilled or pan-fried fish, Cambodians also add this colorful hot sauce to enhance pan-fried noodles and barbecued meat.
